On May 1, 2005 Glenhaven Retirement Village purchased Christian Care Retirement Village and it's license. All complaints and deficiencies prior to May 1, 2005 are from the previous management of the facility. The Administrator of Glenhaven Retirement Village has had zero deficiencies for ten consecutive years at the facility she ran prior to Glenhaven Retirement Village. She is now an owner/administrator.

Ideally located on a ten-acre site just 1/2 miles west of Southern Plains Medical Center, Five Oaks Medical Group, and Grady Memorial Hospital, this peaceful rural setting provides an atmosphere for gracious and meaningful living during retirement years.

Glenhaven Retirement Village Skilled Nursing Facility offers complete rehabilitation and skilled nursing services plus long term care for those that may need more care than can be given or received at home. For those, Glenhaven becomes their new home "away from home." This facility is Medicare and Medicaid approved.

Our Mission

One of our main goals at Glenhaven Retirement Village is to improve the quality of life during retirement years. Whether it be specialized care during a short-term stay in our Skilled Nursing Facility or a more permanent home in our Assisted Living Center or Long-Term Care Facility, our focus is to provide competent care with a caring atmosphere.

One of our main goals at Glenhaven Retirement Village Skilled Unit is to rehabilitate the patients to where at least 75% are able to return to their home.

The Care

One of our main goals at Glenhaven Retirement Village is to develop and implement an individualized care plan suited to the specific needs of each elder. Each plan is designed for the "total" person with individual physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs clearly in mind.

24-hour nursing services are provided by a highly trained and competent staff including RNs and LPNs. Medications are dispensed by certified medication aides as directed by the physician of the elder's choice. Services for our elders would not be complete without the following:
